ComplyNext 2025, A business Conclave, recognizes exemplary organizations across 20 different industry sectors for their outstanding adherence to labour law compliance. The award titled “Labour Law Compliance Excellence Award – [Sector Name]” will be presented based on a structured, transparent, and objective assessment model as outlined below:
Award Categories
Awards will be given across 20 sectors (e.g., Retail, Manufacturing, IT/ITES, Healthcare, Logistics, etc.)
Each category will be titled: “Labour Law Compliance Excellence Award – [Sector Name]”
Basis of Evaluation
Evaluation will be conducted based on a 48-point Labour Law Compliance Checklist.
The checklist is designed to cover: o Statutory registrations & licenses o Maintenance of registers & records o Filing of returns o Wages, leave, and working hours o ESI/PF/Gratuity compliance o Contract labour compliance o Employment policies and HR practices o Safety, welfare & audit practices
Nomination Process
Call for Nominations:
Open to all organizations across sectors
Interested companies must submit a Self-Assessment/Declaration Form based on the 48-point checklist
Self-Declaration Format: Each point on the checklist must be marked as: ▪ Complied ▪ Not Complied ▪ Partially Complied o Supporting remarks (if available) can be included.
Declaration & Undertaking:
Companies must sign a declaration that the information provided is true and verifiable.
The organizers reserve the right to ask for supporting documents at any stage.
Shortlisting of Nominees
Upon receiving the completed Self-Assessment/Declaration Forms, all entries will undergo a preliminary screening based on the responses provided against the 48-point compliance checklist.
The screening will focus on the following parameters: o Overall compliance score derived from the self-assessment. o Consistency and completeness of responses across all checklist points. o Compliance with critical statutory obligations (e.g., PF, ESI, CLRA, registers, licenses). o Quality of remarks or explanations, where provided.
Based on the above, a list of shortlisted nominees will be prepared for each award category.
Minimum Eligibility Threshold:
Only organizations achieving a minimum compliance benchmark will be considered for shortlisting
The organizers reserve the right to adjust this threshold based on the number and quality of applications received.
Shortlisted nominees will proceed to the jury evaluation phase, where further verification and scrutiny will be conducted.
The organizing committee reserves the right to request supporting documents at any point during the shortlisting process.
Verification & Jury Evaluation
Document Verification (Random Check):
Each of the jury members will independently select 2 random checklist points per shortlisted nominee.
The nominee must submit supporting proof for those selected points.
False Declaration Policy:
If any submitted proof contradicts the declaration: ▪ The nominee will be disqualified. ▪ Another company from the waiting list (next in merit) will be included in the shortlist.
Jury Panel:
The jury will consist of 3 independent experts from the fields of labour law, HR compliance, and industry practices.
Jury scoring will be based on: ▪ Accuracy of the declaration ▪ Strength of compliance processes ▪ Quality and reliability of submitted proofs
Scoring & Final Selection
Winners will be selected based on highest composite score per sector.
Award Presentation
Winners will be announced at the ComplyNext 2025 Conclave.
